Cellar Worker

**Job description**

Based in Halifax and reporting to the Brew Master, you will be involved in cellar work, cleaning and sanitization of equipment, and other tasks as assigned. This position is full time/permanent.

**Responsibilities**
- Cellar work: Performing tank cleaning & sanitizing, beer transfers, dry-hopping,
fermentation monitoring and cleaning.
- Inform supervisor of mechanical malfunctions or product irregularities.
- working with chemicals and other workplace hazards in a safe and vigilant manner
- compliance with health, safety, and regulatory compliance requirements.

**General Skills**
- if you have mechanical skills, they are considered an asset.
- you are detail oriented
- you can work independently and exercise good judgement in decision making
- you can work through challenges and changes
- you have some computer skills (Microsoft Excel, Word, etc.).
- you are comfortable with the physical aspects of the job including extended periods of standing, bending, twisting, lifting, climbing, etc.

Pay: $37,000.00-$42,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
