**Job Summary**

**Key Responsibilities**
- Identify projects that align with company goals and values
- Review project specifications, blueprints, and other documentation to understand project requirements
- Collaborate with project managers and clients to gather necessary information for accurate cost estimation
- Analyze data, perform take-offs, and calculate material, labor, and equipment costs
- Identify potential risks and uncertainties that may impact project costs.
- Prepare detailed cost estimates using industry-standard software such as Accubid
- Prepare detailed and competitive bid proposals in response to client invitations.
- Collaborate with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive pricing
- Develop and maintain cost databases and historical cost data for future reference and continuous improvement
- Stay informed about industry trends, material costs, and market conditions to adjust estimates accordingly.
- Collaborate with project teams to monitor and control costs throughout the project lifecycle.
- Clearly communicate cost breakdowns and assumptions to internal teams and external stakeholders.

**Experience**
- Proven experience in electrical estimating or a related field
- Strong knowledge of electrical construction materials, methods, and techniques
- Proficiency in using estimating software such as Accubid or similar programs
- Strong Knowledge of OESC and other related standards
- Excellent mathematical skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadline
- Attention to Detail and eagerness to learn

Pay: $45,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
