**Warranty Administrator**
**LOCATION**:Innisfil, ON
**WORK ENVIRONMENT**: Office
**TYPE**:Full-Time (Monday-Friday)***
**SUMMARY**:
The Warranty Administrator is responsible for providing administrative support to the Service and Warranty department, liaising with internal and external customers, and ensuring the department runs efficiently on a day-to-day basis.

**POSITION REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS**:
**_ Education/ Certification:_**
- Post-Secondary Diploma in Business Administration, a related program OR equivalent experience
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driver’s abstract
**_Experience: _**
- 3+ years’ experience in a Warranty Administrator position or a related Administrative role
- Experience providing Administrative support to a department
- Experience preparing and opening/ closing work orders
- Advanced experience using MS Office Suite, with a focus on Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Mechanical aptitude or previous exposure to a heavy equipment work environment is an asset
**POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Ensure optimal efficiency and customer service
- Work with factory representatives to ensure 100% capture of all warranties
- Work with the accounting department to ensure factory accounts are in good standing
- Ensure on-time billing for all warranty claims
- Process warranty claims for all products within North American branches
- Resolve and/or escalate and report warranty patterns and concerns
- Maintain positive customer relations
- Ensure all reasonable billing is accounted for prior to closing work orders
- Assist with the return of defective parts to various factories as requested
- Assist with the processing of credits for warranty claims
- Recovery of inbound and return freights for warranty parts
- Assist with Parts department as required
- Follow-up with factories on unpaid claims
- Follow-up with all branches on WIP
- Reconcile factory statements and aging report
- Assist with the distribution and follow-up of Technical Bulletin updates and recalls

- Work in compliance with the appropriate safety legislation/regulations/safety policies
- Report any known workplace hazard or safety violations
- Cooperate with their workplace’s Safety Committee or health and safety representative
- Use any safety equipment, protective devices or clothing required
- Not remove or make ineffective any protective device required by the Company or by the regulations.
