Janitor and Cleaner

**Overview**

**Duties**
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting to maintain cleanliness in all areas of the facility.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and common areas to ensure hygiene standards are met.
- Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly while ensuring recycling protocols are followed.
- Maintain floors by polishing, waxing, and buffing as necessary to keep them in good condition.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel promptly.
- Assist with special cleaning projects as needed, such as deep cleaning or seasonal maintenance tasks.
- Ensure that all cleaning supplies and equipment are properly stored and maintained.

**Skills**
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
- Experience in facilities maintenance or commercial cleaning is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Good organizational skills with the capability to manage time effectively.
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques, equipment usage, and safety protocols.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with staff and management.
