At Heritage Family Services, we are dedicated to providing exceptional care for youth with complex needs. Our Therapeutic Family Lead plays a pivotal role in supporting foster caregivers and ensuring that youth receive the best possible therapeutic and cultural care.

**Your Role**:
- **Support & Leadership**: Provide ongoing supervision, training, and support to foster caregivers.
- **Resource Coordination**: Act as a liaison with Children’s Services, advocate for youth and caregivers, and coordinate resources.
- **Flexible Schedule**: Includes evenings, weekends, and after-hours on-call rotation.
- **Cultural Care**: Encourage and support foster caregivers in implementing culturally significant care plans.
- **Spread Awareness**: Be an advocate to recruit and engage others in conversation regarding the importance of Foster Caregiving.
**Core Responsibilities**:
- Maintain comprehensive records of care plans and progress reports.
- Conduct regular in-home visits and performance evaluations.
- Collaborate with child and family teams to achieve desired outcomes.
- Advocate for youth in various settings including schools, courts, and social service agencies.
- Ensure adherence to trauma-informed and attachment-based care practices.

**Skills & Qualifications**:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and social media.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Basic understanding of document management laws and regulations.
- Post-secondary diploma or degree in Human Services, Social Work, Child and Youth Care, Administration or relevant education.
**Working Conditions**:
- **Physical Demands**: Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer, occasional lifting up to 15 pounds.
- **Environmental Conditions**: Indoor setting with artificial lighting and ventilation.
- **Mental Demands**: Prioritizing responsibilities, working under deadlines, and attention to detail.
