We are seeking an individual for **long term** employment within our growing business with a passion in animal care.

Previous experience is a benefit but you will be trained to supervise the dogs in appropriate play and ensure playing in a safe manner.

**You will be on your feet for many consecutive hours, **you must be able to stand, bend and walk around during your full shift while taking care of the dogs in **all **weather conditions.

The environment is very loud at times so good hearing is essential, along with being able to cope with the loudness.

We have a **very strict NO cell phone** policy during work hours, if you cannot adhere to this policy do not apply.

You must be comfortable with dogs of **all **sizes, breeds and temperaments.

The ability to hold a least 50+ lbs of moving dog will be required at times. This position is **Very** **Physical**.

You will be responsible for supervising large groups of friendly but active dogs; directing their play, interrupting problems and making sure all dogs are safe and enjoying the daycare experience.

You must be attentive in being able to make observations about dog behaviours and health.

We are also a full dog spa so must be comfortable with bathing and drying dogs using various spa products and grooming tools. You will be trained in proper bathing techniques.

You must have **great customer service skills** and **very** comfortable with computer as job will also involve administrative and sales skills, along with one on one consultations with customers. Knowledge of raw feeding would be a benefit as we sell raw pet food.

Daily **extensive** cleaning of facility is required to provide the healthiest environment possible for the dogs. This will involve some heavy lifting and being able to move quickly, with lots of lifting and bending and following directions for cleaning without supervision.

**Salary**: $16.55 per hour
