Pharmacy Technician

Meaford IDA has an opening for a full-time Staff Pharmacy Technician. We offer a highly competitive, above average hourly rate, plus a staff benefits package.

As a member of our team, you can expect to work in an environment with:

- Support from management (on-site, as a locally owned banner pharmacy)
- Support from other Registered Technicians and Pharmacy Assistants
- Pharmaclik Rx pharmacy software, soon changing to Kroll

Your duties would include, but are not limited to:

- Patient communication
- Technical verification of blister packs
- Inputting, billing, counting and technical verification of prescriptions
- Inventory management

Please note store hours are Monday -Tuesday 9-7, Wednesday to Friday 9-6 and Saturday/ Sunday 10-4, some weekend availability will be expected.

- Pharmacy Technician license with OCP.*

**Experience**:

- pharmacy: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Pharmacy Technician license with OCP (required)

Pay: $20.31-$34.95 per hour
