Landscape Build/Construction Foreman $29.00 - $35.00/Hour - **IMMEDIATE START**

Sequoia Landscape Services, located on the North Shore, is looking for an experienced Hardscape Foreman for a Full-Time position. Extended Health and Dental Benefits available after three month trial period.

This position is responsible for leading a team of two or more in the construction of paving stone installations, retaining walls, and hardscapes, as well as low-voltage lighting and minor carpentry for high end residential homes primarily in North and West Vancouver.
- Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:Install paver patios; stone, wood, or block retaining walls, and all other related hardscaping products.
- Install soft landscaping components such as backfill, topsoil placement and grading, installation of turf and plant materials.
- Read landscape design plans and implement the landscape construction plan.
- Understand elevations and use this knowledge to execute the construction plan.
- Operate a variety of mechanical equipment including mini excavator and/or skid steer bobcats proficiently.
- Plan and organize the job, ensuring that sufficient resources and materials are available. Also ensure that job is completed in the most time-efficient manner.
- Maintain and drive worksite progress.
- Other duties within the scope, spirit, and purpose of the job as requested by management.

Technical Competencies:

- A valid BC Driver's License is mandatory
- Class 1
- Ability to drive with an attached trailer is an asset
- Machine Operations is an asset

Experience: A minimum of 2-4 years of relevant on-site construction work experience.
