Bakery Supervisor

We're currently seeking a **Supervisor **to join our Bakery team This position reports directly to the Bakery Manager, and some of the main responsibilities include;
- Provides customer service and maintain positive customer relations through the proper handling of questions, comments, request and complaints. Effectively works in a diverse team environment in a proficient and friendly manner
- Plans and performs all aspects of Bakery functions including but not limited to a working knowledge of the Cake Decorator function, stocking, displays, facing and the operation of bake off ovens in an efficient and organized manner. Ensures display presentation and proper stock levels are maintained.
- The Bakery Supervisor, provides direction and supervision to the Bakery Utility Clerks and General Utility Clerks, as required.
- Handles merchandise ensuring quality, and minimizing damages and markdowns. Provides substitutions and ensures price integrity including price changes.

What skills and abilities will you need to be considered?
- Grade 12 education or an acceptable combination of education and experience
- Six months of bakery or equivalent retail experience, with strong product knowledge
- Basic receiving, ordering and merchandising skills
- Basic Word, Excel and Outlook
- Must be fluent in English (CLBA-Canadian Language Benchmark Assessment score of 5 or higher)

- Experience in supervising others, planning and organizing events, projects or programs
- Kronos knowledge
