**What we are looking for**
- **Proven experience in broadcasting and technical expertise is a must**.
- Experience in a Video Network Operations Center (VNOC) or Master Control (MCR) in a broadcasting environment. **This is a must have**.
- Must be able to work a rotating shift schedule, including days, afternoons, evenings, overnights, and weekends (including holidays).
- On-site role located in our Markham, ON headquarters.

**Some of your responsibilities include**
- Monitoring 1000+ television channels to ensure the quality and stability of services.
- Performing commercial insertions in programming.
- Interact with customers and television distribution partners.
- Operating video playout software and broadcast equipment.
- Initiating and closing open tickets efficiently and promptly.
- Notifying clients of maintenance events.
- Assisting in handling technical maintenance events.
- Investigate and resolving any issues with equipment while maintaining open communication with Engineering as needed.
- Assisting with additional tasks, as needed, during unexpected emergencies or specific operational broadcasting events (i.e. live sport programs).
- Working on-site as this is an In Person role
- Working morning/night shifts including and not limited to overnight, holidays and weekends as needed.
- Working in a 24/7 shift rotation environment.
- Expecting to be on call (if needed).

**Expectations in order to be considered for this position**
- Current experience in a video broadcasting environment is a **must**.
- Technical experience within or relating to the broadcasting industry is a **must**.
- Ability to make efficient and quick decisions.
- Capability of multitasking while prioritizing tasks under pressure.
- Capacity to troubleshoot and efficiently resolve daily technical challenges.
- Proven proficiency in technology within a relevant working environment.
- Must be a quick learner and willing to adapt to new technologies, tasks, challenges and dynamic workflow protocols.
- Ability to quickly prioritize issues as they arise and to know when an escalation is needed to a Supervisor or Engineering for example.
- Flexibility to be available to work in a fluid rotating work schedule of daytime, afternoon, evening, overnight, weekends and holidays.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to thrive both independently and collaboratively within a team structure.

**Compensation will be re-evaluated, based on performance, upon the completion of the three-month probationary period.**

Pay: $48,000.00 per year
