**Maintenance Technician (Elecromechanic): 12-hour shift**

Under the supervision of the maintenance manager, the Maintenance Technician performs breakage diagnostics, corrective repairs and preventive inspections on production equipment. He performs electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic maintenance and repairs on these various pieces of equipment.

**Responsibilities**:
**Maintenance**
- Diagnose and repair equipment following Lock-Out / Tag-Out procedure. Numesh has a zero-tolerance policy for lock-out infraction
- Perform planned and scheduled preventive maintenance per issued work orders
- Respond to equipment downtime calls in a timely manner and commence diagnosis of issue and repair
- Troubleshoot, identify and repair electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, plumbing, mechanical and controls issues
- Maintain a clean and organized maintenance area and work environment to prevent injuries
- Ensure safe operation of all equipment (fork truck, cranes, etc.) and maintenance tools (lathes, milling machine, welders, etc.) always. Only use equipment if certified
- Enter detailed Work Order information in the ERP system to ensure accurate history of performed maintenance
- Report suspected issues of observations of premature wear of potential machine failures to management so they can be addressed before downtime or damage
- Uphold image of company at work and outside of work

- Collaborate in the prevention of work accidents

**Requirements**:

- College degree in Mechanic, electromechanics or maintenance
- 5 years experience with similar work in an industrial environment (an asset)
- Strong electrical skills and good knowledge of mechanics, pneumatics and hydraulics
- Be able to program various control equipment, PLCs, drives, etc.
- Welding skills (an asset)
- Good team spirit
- Have a good sense of observation, analysis and synthesise
- Ability to manage and resolve technical issues quickly
- Good time management, priorities
- Autonomous and responsible
