**Position Summary**:
Introductory class in Guitar techniques for Music Education students. Students shall demonstrate effective pedagogical skills and gain performing competence sufficient to teach the instrument in an elementary and secondary classroom environment.

This is a 6-week course (September 5 - October 23, 2024).

**Qualifications - Required**: Master’s Degree in Music

**Qualifications - Discipline**: Guitar teaching experience at the post-secondary or secondary level.

**Qualifications - Asset**:Doctorate in Guitar or Music education; professional experience teaching group Guitar in non-institutional settings.
