What You’ll be Doing

Facilitating a centralized part-time faculty hiring process within the Faculty, in collaboration with HR. Creates shared tools for PSB team (e.g. general mailbox, centralized tracking sheet) and seeks process efficiencies.

Provides guidance to, and supports, hiring managers and PSB Admin team as relates to part-time recruitment processes.

Supporting APAs and Associate Deans on other projects, events and activities as required; Initiates and undertakes special assignments by researching, compiling, analyzing information related to part time hiring

Responds and resolves various inquiries and issues from various stakeholders, particularly part time hires - explaining and providing information related to academic activities, teaching needs, and information on a broad range of PSB and Sheridan topics.

Responsible for onboarding logistics of new part time faculty (e.g. equipment, technology, OneCard, SLATE, connections to Faculty teams and resources.

Must possess a minimum 3-year college diploma or university degree in Human Resources, Social Sciences, Business, or a related field.

Must possess a minimum of 1-year of direct related experience in an HR role including Talent acquisition experience preferably full-cycle

Must possess Experience working on projects and managing multiple priorities and project tasks with challenging deadlines. Well developed workflow planning and project administration skills

Experience with HRIS system (PeopleSoft), Visio, Office 365, Access or similar database considered an asset

**Campus Location**: Hazel McCallion (may be assigned activities at any Sheridan campus) once normal campus operations resume. This position is currently working hybrid.
