Surrey, Canada My Empower Therapy - Pediatrics Full time

**Duties**:

- Assess and diagnose speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in patients under supervision of a RSLP
- Work under the guidance and supervision of an RSLP
- Implement individualized treatment plans to address the specific needs of each patient
- Provide therapy sessions to improve speech, language, and communication skills
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure optimal outcomes
- Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary
- Educate patients and their families on strategies to improve communication
- Stay up-to-date with the latest research and advancements in the field of speech-language pathology

**Requirements**:

- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Certification in Speech-Language Pathology and ability to register for CSHBC licence to practice
- Experience working with children with autism and speech delays
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to speech-language pathology
- Experience working with pediatric patients is REQUIRED
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

**Salary**: $22.00-$26.50 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 35 per week
