Foundation Building Materials (FBM) is now seeking Commercial Drivers to join our Transport team in the Calgary, Alberta.

**Essential Functions/Qualifications**:

- Possess valid Class 1 License.
- Runs are made from Alberta and Saskatchewan on weekdays.
- Minimum 2-year consistent commercial driving experience with a B-Train Flat Deck.
- Able to lift 75+ lbs.
- Physical capacity to perform job tasks.
- Arrive to work on time when scheduled.
- The ability to inspect trucks daily and verify that they are loaded and secured properly when leaving the facility in accordance with Company and D.O.T. standards.
- The ability to strap down loads in a way that protects the materials as well as follow customer directive.
- Strong Customer Service.
- A safe driving record.
- Basic understanding and knowledge of operating a Super-B Flatbed truck, including backing up the truck to a loading dock/bay.
- Basic understanding and knowledge of building materials.
- Must be organized and keep track of all paperwork.
- Use company provided GPS system.
- Conform to all safety rules and regulations of the Company and OHS regulations.

- Dependable and great work ethic.
- Able to drive safely in all conditions.
- Other duties may be assigned.
- After receipt of conditional offer of employment, must be able to pass drug screen and background check.

**Other Responsibilities**:

- Display leadership and may be requested to direct and supervise within their department.
- Maintain a basic knowledge of products.
