**Quality Assurance Technician**

As we continue to respond to the requirements of our customers and staff, our day shift in our Guelph facility, we are excited to advise that we’re looking for a Quality Assurance Technician. This is a busy, team-oriented shop in our _**Western Ontario**_ region that places a strong emphasis on customer satisfaction. The service department is an important area of our business, ensuring that our equipment is ready and available as well as maintaining a flow of information on that equipment for both the rental staff and the sales staff. Our service technicians are critical to the success of our customer relationships.
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization of shop, yard and branch;
- General building maintenance;
- Maintaining and servicing rental equipment, making minor repairs on equipment plus performing preventative maintenance, oil / filter changes;
- Quality control involving detailed inspection for defects on rental units.
- Assisting other technicians as needed;
- Assisting with drivers, shop technicians and customers as needed.

**Qualifications**:

- Forklift operation experience;
- Knowledge of construction equipment and mechanics;
- Technical aptitude and organization skills are preferred;
- Previous experience in a related field, and knowledge of construction equipment and building products;
- A self-starter, with a keen sense of time-management and effective planning skills;
- Good communication and people skills.

**This is an excellent entry-level position for an individual looking to gain experience in a mechanic shop.**
