**About the role**

Marcem Rentals are seeking an experienced **Workshop Technician **to join our growing rental business. As part of the workshop and operations team you will have a robust skillset in an industry related occupation allowing us to continue to provide high-level service and support to our valued customers. For the right person, this role may develop into the position of Operations and/or Workshop Manager

**Skills & Requirements**

Reporting to the Country Manager, you will:

- Have proven skills and experience in a similar role
- Have a strong focus on client satisfaction and support
- Repair, calibrate and service hydraulic tools and equipment, including electrical and pump units.
- Ensure all tooling and equipment is maintained and serviced ready for hire in a timely manner.
- Assist head office operations and logistics coordination with the delivery of rental projects.
- Manage ingoing and outgoing rentals through our POS system
- Be willing to work out of hours or on site on rare occasions
- Be willing to work in a growing team environment
- Ability to work independently at times under minimum supervision
- Maintain the workshop in a clean and orderly manner
- Possess quality interpersonal and engagement skills
- Be fluent and proficient in English, both verbal and written
- Possess quality computer skills

**Essential Pre-requisites**
- Relevant trade qualification
- Must reside in and have legal working rights in Canada

**Desirable experience**
- Experience related to hydraulic tooling such as torque wrenches, bolt tensioners and hydraulic cylinders
- Experience related to field machining equipment such as mills, flange facers, pipe cutting tools, line boring and welding.
- Forklift licence/certification or willingness to obtain

**Salary**: $65,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
