Handyman

Four Points by Sheraton & TownePlace Suites by Marriott Sherwood Park is looking for a reliable Maintenance Person to join our team. We have a small crew of hardworking individuals and are looking for someone that is reliable, responsible, and willing to take on a variety of responsibilities.

**Responsibilities**
**Provide general maintenance and repairs to Four Points by Sheraton & TownePlace Suites by Marriott Sherwood Park buildings and equipment.**
- Perform routine cleaning and other tasks as needed.
- Ensure that all tools, equipment, and work areas are cleaned and maintained in a safe and efficient manner.
- Perform special projects as requested by management or owner.
- Report any maintenance concerns or problems to the supervisor or manager.
- Maintain a positive attitude and work well with others.

**Skills**
**Proven experience as maintenance person or similar role**
- Excellent knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, electrical systems, and small mechanical skills (i.e. turnarounds, hand tools, plumbing fixtures etc.)
- Familiarity with general maintenance practices and procedures
- Ability to read doodads and understand technical information (e.g. math equations)
- Good physical condition with strong work ethic
- High school diploma or equivalent; Certificate in trades or apprenticeship will be an advantage

**Salary**: $16.00-$17.00 per hour

- 8 hour shift

- Weekends as needed
