**Job purpose**:
Manages the finished goods material handlers, order pickers and shippers and is responsible for the Finished Goods Warehouse area. The focus of this position will be the management of the Warehouse Management System for finished goods.

Additional responsibilities within the Warehouse Lead Hand role may be developed, and implemented, with direction from senior management.

Note: During the afternoon shift, the Production Supervisors are to administer the guidelines set forth by the Finished Goods Warehouse Lead Hand. It is essential to have an excellent relationship with each of the Production Supervisors.

**Shift Hour**:
**Morning Shift - 8am to 4:30pm (40-44 hr work week)**

**Key responsibilities and accountabilities**:

- Ensure direct reports follow the established processes including: labelling pallets correctly, with zero errors on palletization, and storage location processes, through effective use of Warehouse Management System. (WMS).
- Assisting with picking and product movement on the floor when necessary.
- Maintain inventory accuracy by ensuring direct reports maintain an attention to detail on moves, adjustments, and order picking.
- Investigate then Communicate any Finished Goods adjustments required to the Director of Sales.
- Administering or provide direction in regards to Finished Goods inventory counts, tracking efficiencies and deficiencies.
- Assist Operations Manager and HR, not administer, any disciplinary actions that may be required.
- Follow up with Quality in regards to Control releases, and quality sampling as it pertains to Warehouse Lead Hand.
- Customer Satisfaction - achieving 100% accuracy on shipping.
- Organization - All product allocated to a location, floor space clear, and warehouse tidy.
- Ensuring compliance with food safety and health and safety requirements.
- Operator health and safety - Ensure all direct reports are following rules of operation of equipment and completing daily Fork Truck checks, ensure any issues with lift trucks are reported in a timely manner to Operations Manager.
- Support staff in a positive and productive manner.
- Communicating, and coordinating, with other departments as required.
- Maintaining records, reporting relevant information, and preparing any necessary documentation.

**Education**: Minimum high school or College education.

**Personality**:Must be able to multi-task, follow direction, agreeable, able to quickly analyze delivery situations.

**Skills**: Forklift (stand-up mandatory), Pump trucks, etc. Familiar with Warehouse Management Systems e.g. scanning.

**Transportation**: Own transportation mandatory.
