Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mason to join our team. As a Mason, you will be responsible for constructing, repairing, and renovating various structures using masonry techniques. This is a hands-on position that requires proficiency in working with power tools, hand tools, and heavy equipment.

**Responsibilities**:

- Build and restore structures such as walls, floors, chimneys, and walkways using masonry techniques
- Operate heavy equipment to transport materials and assist in construction projects
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to ensure accurate construction
- Use power tools and hand tools to cut, shape, and polish materials
- Collaborate with other team members to complete projects within deadlines
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment

Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a Mason
- Proficiency in masonry techniques, including the use of power tools and hand tools
- Working at heights and WHIMIS
- Scaffolding experience
- Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently
- Strong knowledge of blueprint reading and schematics interpretation
- Attention to detail and ability to work with precision
- Physical stamina to handle the demands of the job, including lifting heavy materials
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot issues on-site

Preferred Qualifications:

- Certification or apprenticeship in masonry or related field
- Lift training (Scissor, zoom boom, telehandler)

Note: This is a paid position. Compensation will be discussed during the interview process.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 8 months

Pay: $30.41-$45.00 per hour
