Financial Controller

Restoration Lands Inc. (RLI) is seeking a dynamic, forward-thinking leader with strong interpersonal and accounting skills who will ensure the integrity of all accounting transactions and reports. This position will report to the CEO and have direct responsibility for all accounting, finance, forecasting, budgeting, and project management. This role will ensure company accounting procedures conform to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and internal controls and policies facilitate meticulous internal and external financial reporting.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Full cycle accounting including, but not limited to:

- Accounts payable, accounts receivables, and payroll.
- Monthly reporting including income statements and job cost reports.
- Inventory tracking and management, fixed asset management.
- Budgeting and forecasting.
- Statutory reporting.
- Ongoing assessment of current systems, processes, and controls within the finance function.
- Provide recommendations for improvements and execute improvements with a focus on efficiencies and future needs.

Education and Experience:

- Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) preferred, (or previously held) with minimum five (5) years of experience.
- Experience with accounts payable two-way and three-way matching required.
- Experience with project management and payroll required.
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Outlook), advanced knowledge of Excel required.
- Experience with strong proficiency in Sage50 (Simply Accounting).

Job Details:

- Salaried or contract Position.
- ½ to ¾ time
- Health Spending Account (H.S.A.).
- Paid vacation starting at (2) weeks annually.

Part-time hours: 24-30 per week

**Salary**: $35.00-$40.00 per hour
