Reporting to the Director of Information Technology, the IT Technician will perform a variety of user support and Active Directory account administration tasks. This is an on-site position at Lasalle College.

**Location**: In person - LaSalle College - 2000 Sainte-Catherine W, Montreal, QC H3H 2T2.
**Hours**: Monday to Friday (7:30am to 8pm) - Rotating schedule with the IT team.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Process requests from our centralized ticketing system Octopus;
- Configure, install and support software, computers, printers and other computer equipment;
- Ensure the proper functioning of the computer equipment and see to the maintenance and repair of the latter;
- Ensure the proper functioning of office software, including Office 365, assist users and ensure optimal adherence to LCI Education's standard collaboration tools;
- Administer user accounts.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- College diploma (or attestation of college studies) in computer science;
- 2 to 3 years experience in technical support;
- Knowledge of Windows 10 and MAC operating systems;
- Experience in managing Office 365;
- Knowledge of networking and telephony technologies;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in French and English. Spanish is an asset;

- Knowledge of the Octopus ticketing system (an asset) or experience working with an equivalent tool;
- Excellent customer service;
- Ability to communicate verbally or in writing with users;
- Ability to explain technical issues to users with little technology expertise;

- Energetic and motivated to succeed;
- Ability to manage priorities;
- Willingness to work flexible hours when required;
- Desire to learn and stay current with computer technologies.
