Central Plains Cannabis is a Cannabis Retail Operator in Newcastle, ON.

We are looking for motivated individuals who love to meet new people, cultivate relationships and are excited to learn more about this up and coming industry.

**Must be available during the week for covering shifts.**
**Must possess a G Class License**
**Must possess a vehicle**

**Key Accountabilities**:

- Welcome and assist all customers that visit the store
- Respond to customer inquiries with comprehensive product knowledge and accuracy
- Ensure a high level of customer interaction, suggestive selling and enthusiasm
- Work in partnership with Management and sales team to maximize store sales
- Professionally and courteously handle customer feedback, complaints or concerns
- Maintain a high level of product knowledge
- Process purchase payments - cash, credit/debit card
- Receive and process inventory
- Perform opening and closing procedures and complete daily reports
- Adhere to all safety and security protocols
- Ensure store is clean and tidy and merchandise is well-displayed and stocked

**Experience and Qualifications**:

- Minimum one year of experience in Retail
- Cannabis, Liquor, Hospitality and/or Healthcare experience is preferred.
- Experience in Health and Safety, Education and facilitating training would be considered a strong asset
- Post-Secondary education
- **Cannsell Certification**:

- Must pass a Criminal Record Check
- Must pass a Comprehensive Background Check
- Working knowledge of regulations as it pertains to the selling of Cannabis in Ontario
- Strong interpersonal, communication, organization and execution skills.
- Ability to use POS system and its inventory management functions
- Ability to maintain composure under pressure
- Working knowledge of recreational and/or medical cannabis an asset
- Must be available to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
