**Job Overview**

**Duties**
- Safely operate trucks to transport freight to designated locations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
- Load and unload freight, utilizing forklifts and other heavy equipment as necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of hours worked, mileage, and fuel consumption.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise.
- Perform basic automotive repairs and maintenance on the vehicle as needed to ensure optimal performance.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while on the road.

**Requirements**:

- Valid driver's license (#5) is required.
- Proficiency in operating mini equipment such as skid steers and excavators an asset.
- Knowledge of basic automotive repair is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines consistently.
