Greet customers and provide **excellent** **customer service** at all times
- **Scan merchandise** accurately
- Describe current promotions and advertisements to customers
- Handle payments by cash, cheque, credit card or automatic debit
- Use electronic scanners, cash register, or computers
- Give receipts, refunds, credits and assist customers
- Must be very detail oriented
- Open and close till at the beginning and end of each shift
- Ensure that **safe work practices** are followed including using proper lifting techniques and keeping the store clean
- Lifting involved as well for putting away product orders
- **Keep store clean** at all times
- Basic math skills
- Detail oriented with a positive attitude
- Excellent command of the English language, both oral and written
- Must be punctual, dependable and hard working
- Self-confident, personable, energetic personality
- Ability to work within a fast-paced environment
- Professional appearance and demeanour

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Casual

**Salary**: $15.65 per hour

Day range:

- Holidays
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

Shift:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Chilliwack, BC V2R 3R5: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- sales: 1 year (preferred)
- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
