**The Role**

**Key Deliverables**
- Assist in development spares requirements for the EAF and ensure that internal review, approval and procurement process are completed.
- Assist in development and implementation of SAP master data collection, equipment documentation and OEM PM requirements.
- Assist in development, documentation and communication of Commissioning Plans, Lock Out Procedures, Notices of testing etc.
- Assist Maintenance group in the onsite commissioning of EAF equipment as per developed commissioning plan
- Assist in troubleshooting of electrical/mechanical systems
- Identify and document concerns with quality or functionality
- Support the operating and maintenance group in developing and implementation the EAF Maintenance plan
- Support the operating and maintenance group in achieving their annual product and process improvement objectives.
- Participate in cross-functional or cross departmental process or equipment commissioning teams.
- Participation in operations or maintenance problem solving teams, including assisting in field trouble shooting activities.
- Assist in identifying and resolving major delays and reliability issues using formal root cause analysis or other analytical techniques
- Assist in the functional design / redesign of equipment systems.
- Provide technical assistance regarding installed equipment selection, acceptance, operation, maintenance

**Core Competencies and Skills Required**
- Must be currently enrolled in a mechatronics diploma within a college or university
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience working in a team atmosphere is an asset
- Experience with SAP is an asset
