Therapeutic Recreationist

The Canadian Mental Health Association is seeking a person for the position of Therapeutic Recreationist for their Evening Social Recreation Rehabilitation Program. **This is a summer placement position supported by Canada Summer Job's Program**.

Qualifications include:

- A person between 15 and 30 years of age at the start of the employment.
- A Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or person to whom refugee protection has been conferred under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act for the duration of the employment.
- A person with a valid Social Insurance Number at the start of employment and be legally entitled to work in Canada in accordance with relevant provincial or territorial legislation and regulations.

Experience working with persons with mental llness and other special needs populations and working on, or have achieved, a diploma/degree in a related field would be a definite asset. French-speaking is an asset.

Hours: Monday: 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Tuesday to Friday: 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Pay: $15.60-$16.55 per hour
