Gas Bar Manager @ Davidson

We are seeking a hands-on individual who is committed to excellent service and is a self-motivated, ambitious, and energetic individual who will be involved in all aspects of Gas bar Management including: ordering, receiving, recruitment, training and development, performance management, and keeping safety as a top priority. The Davidson Gas Bar location offers full serve fuel, Cardlock, Tesla Charging Station and a full sized modern convenience store, and a strong customer membership base to service.

**What you’ll do**:

- Demonstrate day to day behaviours and actions that align with and strengthen our Co-op’s vision, mission, values, brand and focus on safety.
- Provide prompt, personalized, Legendary Service to all our members and guests both in-store and over the phone.
- Ensure that all members and guests are completely satisfied with their experience.
- Proactively recruiting high-quality employees and lead orientation practices and ensure the administration of human resources policies to develop positive relationships with all employees.
- Help develop quality team training and succession plans.
- Develop the annual operating budget for the Davidson Gas Bar that supports the corporate goals.
- Provide direction and oversight to the Gas Bar team through coaching, mentoring and performance management.
- Grow current customer base, through implementing new programs, and overall customer experience.
- Ensure Gas Bar standards are met and upheld
- Lead a culture of safety through the adherence to company standards for health & safety, loss prevention and environmental due diligence.

**Who you are**:
You are looking for a career in Customer Service and:

- Possess 1-3 years of experience in management in a retail environment, including supervisory experience.
- Retail experience in the areas of member relations, selling, OHS, ordering, receiving, and asset maintenance and management.
- A clear and solid understanding of personnel policies, practices, and procedures and other operational issues faced by the organization.
- High level of integrity and accountability
- Sound analytical thinking, planning, priorities, and execution skills
- A well-defined sense of diplomacy, conflict resolution, and people management skills.
- Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and holidays where necessary.
- Ability to fulfill physical job requirements including manual labour.
- Experience in retail sales especially in the CRS will be considered an asset
- Strong leadership skills that align with Riverbend’s values of Integrity, Community, Responsibility and Service.
- Ability to foster a culture focused on safety, innovation, and teamwork
