**Overview**
**Duties**
- Greet clients and their pets with warmth and professionalism, creating a welcoming environment.
- Schedule appointments, manage the calendar, and confirm upcoming visits.
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries regarding services, procedures, and pet care.
- Maintain accurate patient records, including medical history and laboratory results.
- Process payments and manage billing inquiries efficiently.
- Multiple office duties
- Advanced reception skills to assist the hospital
- Filling prescriptions
- Client education
- Assist veterinarians and technicians with administrative tasks as needed.
- Ensure the reception area is clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies.
- Manage multiple phone lines.
- Provide information on preventive care, wellness programs, and other services offered by the clinic.
**Requirements**:
- Previous experience in a veterinary or animal care setting is preferred.
- Kindness and empathy towards all clients
- Strong communication skills with an emphasis on customer service.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and walk up and down stairs carrying objects.
- Familiar with Avimark or similar veterinary software.
- Ability to maintain professional interactions during stressful situations.
- A genuine love for animals and a commitment to their care is essential.
- Ability to work full-time hours until 6pm (and occasionally later).
- Ability to multi-task.
- A willingness to learn
