The Master Scheduler is a critical operations role at the Pump QRCs that is responsible for the creation and maintenance of a master production schedule for all work within the facility. This role will take the released manufacturing routers and, using scheduling tools available, load them into an overall master schedule for the facility. The Master Scheduler will use this information to work with shop management, team leads, and individual contributors to prioritize work and set daily production objectives. This role will also be responsible for ensuring that work is planned based on customer due dates. In addition, the Master Scheduler will on occasion provide updates directly to sales and customers regarding the status of open orders and when they are planned to ship. The Master Scheduler will report directly to the site QRC Manager. This position is located in the xxxx facility.

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Plan production schedules based on customer order requirements and work closely with purchasing and production teams to ensure availability of material and resources to meet production targets and delivery deadlines
- Monitor capacity and initiate manufacturing outsourcing as required to meet deadlines
- Plan equipment support and allocation to optimize capacity
- Monitor daily work order fulfillment in accordance to schedule and coordinate with facility management for any schedule deviations to ensure corrective action plans are taken immediately to resolve issues
- Coordinate with shipping/receiving to ensure parts/materials are received and documented accurately in WIP stages to ensure work orders remain on track
- Work with assigned Project Coordinators, relaying job status and providing project timelines/schedules
- Participate and implement programs/procedures to improve processes, lead-time, production yields and delivery performance.
- Manage the customer experience by occasionally acting as a point of contact for orders. Provide customer updates as requested
- Attend and actively participate in order hand off meetings (Pass Gate 1), and effectively manage the Pass Gate Process throughout the order lifecycle

Core Requirements:

- Technical degree (Associates or Bachelors in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or Industrial Engineering). Relevant technical school training or experience may be considered
- 3+ years of experience in Material Planning or Work Flow Scheduling within a manufacturing environment.
- Able to operate in a matrix environment and lead without direct authority.
- Experience scheduling/planning multiple jobs simultaneously
- Basic knowledge/understanding of manufacturing processes such as machining, welding, inspection, assembly.
- An understanding of Material Planning, Inventory Control, and Material Requirements Planning
- Strong drive to make things happen and a strong “can do” attitude
- Experience operating in an ERP system is a plus

**Skills and Capabilities**
- Self-motivated with an ability to work independently and make decisions on the spot
- Strong written and oral communication skills with the ability to speak and communicate effectively with various audiences at the site level. Capacity to effectively share information and respond to questions from supervisors and managers at multiple levels of the organization
- Advanced experience in MS Project tools including: Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. MS Project experience is a plus.
- Demonstrated experience reviewing, interpreting, and communicating technical specifications
- Capable of quickly establishing credibility, influencing constituencies, and persuading professionals at all levels.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced and changing work environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, in addition to interpersonal, teamwork skills
- Strong drive to make things happen and a strong
