Ironworker - Rebar Placers

Platinum Bros. Reinforcing seeks experienced, reliable Ironworkers for regular full-time employment (35-40 hours per week) + 10 days vacation.

Work Locations: 2421 Alpha Ave, Burnaby, BC V5C 5L2 with prefab work in Abbotsford. Other job sites in Metro Vancouver area (Surrey, Burnaby, Tri-Cities).

**Duties**:

- Install reinforcing steel
- Install pre and post-tensioned cables
- Position and secure steel bars or metal mesh in concrete forms to reinforce concrete structures
- Signal crane operators to position units according to blueprints

Qualifications:

- 3 years to less than 5 years
- Access to vehicle or reliable source of transportation to get to job sites throughout the Lower Mainland/Metro Vancouver Area
- Must be reliable, dependable and punctual
- Must have Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- Must be able to read blueprints and specifications to lay out work
