Pipe Layer/labourer

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Pipelayer to join our team. As a Pipelayer, you will be responsible for installing and repairing pipelines for various construction projects. This is a physically demanding role that requires experience in operating heavy equipment and working in outdoor environments.

**Duties**:

- Operate mechanical equipment such as compaction equipment, laser, saw, drill
- Assist with the installation, repair, and maintenance of pipelines
- Ensure proper alignment and grade of pipelines
- Assist in backfill trenches and compact soil around pipelines
- Inspect and test pipelines for leaks or damages
- Assist in site preparation
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area
- Assist in road building

**Experience**:

- Proven experience as a Pipelayer or similar role in the construction industry
- Proficient in rigging, digging, and operating heavy equipment such as backhoes and packing, bulldozer, etc.
- Knowledge of mechanical systems related to pipeline installation
- Strong understanding of pipeline alignment and grade requirements

**Skills**:

- Rigging and digging trenches for pipeline installation
- Operating mechanical equipment such as backhoes and packers, bulldozers, etc.
- Heavy equipment operation for pipeline installation and road building/site prep.
- Must have valid "G" license
- D, AZ licenses are an asset, but not required.
- please provide a driver's abstract for insurance purposes.
