CentreCore Facility Services is looking for a Part-Time Parking Lot Litter Pick Maintenance Person to join our Team

Overview: The main duties of this team member would be to sweep up litter in the parking lot, road ways, landscape areas and loading docks. The job includes emptying garbage cans and replacing liners around the exterior of the facility but may involve some cleaning duties inside the facility as well.

Qualifications:

- Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is needed
- Good communication skills
- Good teamwork skills
- Ability to follow instructions
- Reliable transportation
- Strong customer service skills are an asset

Work Setting:

- Outside commercial, office, retail, and industrial facilities

**Tasks**:

- Sweeping up litter in the parking lot, roadways, landscaping areas and loading docks.
- Emptying garbage cans around the facility and replacing garbage liners
- Compacting cardboard and garbage utilizing onsite compactor
- Cleaning duties inside and outside the facility as needed.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:

- Fast-paced environment
- Repetitive tasks
- Outdoor work mostly (some indoor work)
- Ability to lift 25 lbs.

Work Term: Permanent

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: From $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20-25 hours per week
Schedule: 4 - 5 hours shifts Monday to Friday
Expected start date: 2024-November
