- Work with the Sr Project Manager to execute projects from requirements definition through deployment, identifying schedules, scopes, budget estimations, and implementation plans, including risk mitigation
- Identify internal and external resources to ensure that projects adhere to scope, schedule, and budget
- Analyze project status and, when necessary, revise the scope, schedule, or budget to ensure that project requirements can be met
- Establish and maintain relationships with relevant client stakeholders, providing day-to-day contact on project status and changes

This role shall fullfill the following responsibilities:

- Establish and maintain processes for managing scope during the project lifecycle, setting quality and performance standards and assessing risks
- Develop and maintain partnerships with third-party resources, including vendors and researchers
- Identify and monitor resources to ensure project efficiency and maximize deliverables
- Report project outcomes and/or risks to the appropriate management channels and escalate issues, as necessary, according to project work plan
- Review for accuracy all fabrication drawings for issuance of production
- Source project materials from existing partners and research potential new partners
- Identify opportunities for project performance optimization
- Have comfort in an industrial setting and actively participating with assessments in the shop environment.
- Willingness to learn and take direction from Sr Project Manager
- Other duties as required
- Minimum of 3 - 5 years of project management experience, preferably with industrial/construction projects.
- Post Secondary technical diploma from an accredited technical institute such as SAIT or NAIT in the discipline of Mechanical, Chemical, Instrumentation or Welding Engineering.
- Proficient skill in Microsoft Office
- Proficient skill in Microsoft Project (Smart Sheet)
- Active Class 5 drivers licence with a clean abstract
- Must have certified steel toe shoes
- Own transportation is required
