Fabrication Technician

ProAll International Manufacturing Ltd., located in **Olds, AB**, is seeking a Fabrication Technician who will be responsible for performing various tasks related to metal fabrication, including cutting, shaping, and assembling metal components and structures. **This position does not require any welding techniques. **_**We are growing and this is an excellent opportunity to join a positive team in a fast-paced, safety-oriented environment. **_

**Day Shift: 6:00am - 2:30pm**

**Qualifications**:

- Mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity
- Familiar with hand tools and power tools
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
- Forklift and overhead crane experience is an asset
- Experience working with a laser table, bandsaw and break is an asset
- Self-motivated and can work well under limited supervision
- Time management and organizational skills
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Team oriented, positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Problem solving skills and strong work ethic
- Able to work safely in a fast-paced environment
- Think and react to changing conditions as needed
- Flexible to accommodate varying shift times, if necessary

**Responsibilities**:

- Fabricate metal components using cutting and shaping techniques
- Operate and maintain various tools and machinery, including, grinders, bandsaws, and laser tables and breaks
- Set up and adjust machines and equipment for production runs
- Inspect finished products for accuracy and quality
- Identify and correct any defects or inconsistencies in fabricated parts
- Demonstrate continuous effort to improve operations, decrease turnaround times and streamline work related processes
- Perform daily safety and maintenance checks on various tools and machines
- Follow all safety policies and maintain integrity
- Use PPE as required and report any safety hazards or incidents immediately
- Interpret and work from technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications
- Follow up with supervisor and maintain accurate records of production activities, including materials used, time spent and products completed, issues encountered
