Granite Fabricator

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Grind, sand and polish surfaces using abrasive tools or machines.
- Position, join, and align quartz/granite components.
- Operate a variety of hand power tools.
- Load and unload materials for countertop installations
- Measuring and Templating - Confident in reading a measuring tape.
- Use stone and woodworking tools to complete installations
- Joining pieces together to make seems flow naturally.
- Hanging sinks, shimming, making sure everything is level and flush
- Keep installation truck, tools kits, and jobsite organized
- Interact with customers as needed during installation process
- Professional work ethic
- Be able to lift 75+ lbs - stand for long periods of time and perform strenuous physical labor under adverse field conditions-this is a physically demanding position
- Have a strong attention to detail and take pride in finished product
- Cabinetry and carpentry experience an asset but not necessary
- Ability to work alongside other employees and independently
- Excellent customer service
- Be self-directed
- Have Effective time management skills
- Clean drivers abstract and Have reliable transportation to and from work
- **Willing to train the right individual.**

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00-$25.00 per hour

Additional pay:

- Overtime pay

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Campbell River, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- carpentry: 1 year (preferred)
