Warehouse Clerk

The Warehouse Clerk is responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of the warehouse. This includes managing inventory, processing orders, receiving, and shipping goods, and ensuring the warehouse is organized and efficient.

**Job Responsibility**
- Place the appropriate documentation with each order and ensure all cases are clearly labelled and accurately marked (e.g., pick/pack slips, stickers).
- Palletize cases, wrap, and load pallets onto trailers.
- Create shipping labels and other paperwork for parcels and skid shipments (e.g., waybills, shipping manifests, shipping labels); maintain accurate shipping data in warehouse management system.
- Stage and coordinate outbound shipments.
- Perform cycle counts & annual count.
- Ensure goods are packed, labeled, and stored properly.
- Prepare and/or sign off on shipping documents for carriers, receiving, transacting orders, and checking invoices from vendors.
- Assist in daily cycle count and verify second recount.
- Report any damaged stock or equipment to superiors.
- Completes other tasks as required to support the team.

**Schedule**:
Monday to Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm

Contract term: ASAP- Oct 31st 2024

**Qualifications Required**:

- Highly customer service oriented.
- Energetic, dependable, punctual, team player, capable of working on their own, detail oriented and able to multitask.
- Must be fluent in English speaking and writing
- Must possess computer skills.
- Must be able to lift/carry 50 lbs.
- Qualified in the handling and preparation for shipment of hazardous and dangerous goods is considered an asset.

**Experience and education**:

- High School Degree or equivalent.
- Minimum one (1) years’ experience as a Dispatch/Receiving Clerk or Picker-Packer in a warehouse.
