Daycare Cook/educator

Dalmeny Daycare Inc. is looking to hire a Cook/Educator to join our team We are looking for someone who is energetic, positive, outgoing, takes initiative, and a team player who loves working with children

We are a 35-space licensed Childcare facility located in Dalmeny, Sk. We provide high quality early learning and childcare to children ages 18 months to 6 years.

The Cook is responsible for providing nutritious meals and snacks for the children following the guidelines as set out by the Ministry of Education and Canada Food Guide. Responsibilities include menu planning, purchasing, picking up groceries, food preparation, and cleaning.

As a Cook, you must have your Food Safe Handling Certificate, First Aid and CPR, and a clear current criminal record check & vulnerable sector check (within the last 6 months) prior to starting.

Please note that we are in a rural community location and there is no public transit available.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract

**Salary**: $16.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
