**Neurofeedback Technician**
**Ottawa Neurofeedback and Psychotherapy Centre, **a division of True North Psychological Services, is seeking a **Neurofeedback Technician** to join our growing clinic. This position is full-time and will be required to travel to both the Kanata and Downtown location.
Ottawa Neurofeedback and Psychotherapy Centre is a private mental health practice specializing in qEEG brain mapping and various types of neurofeedback. We help clients of all ages with a wide range of challenges including anxiety, depression, PTSD, OCD, ADD and ADHD, concussions and traumatic brain injuries, seizures, strokes, and performance issues.

**Who you are**:
- Background in Neuroscience, Psychology, or related healthcare field preferred. Current students are encouraged to apply
- Certification with the Biofeedback Certification International Alliance (BCIA) as a Neurofeedback Technician is preferred (this may be obtained after successful hire)
- Professional and motivated

- Able to work independently within a multidisciplinary team
**Responsibilities**:
- Work under the direction of the clinical lead
- Establish rapport and uphold standards of care with a diverse range of clients
- Prepare and orient clients to qEEG collection and neurofeedback training
- Maintain established precautions for safe and hygienic use of equipment (includes cleaning and sterilizing equipment, caring for equipment and supplies, and reporting any abnormalities that may need repair)
- Conduct individualized qEEG assessment data for analysis and interpretation by the clinical lead
- Conduct individualized neurofeedback training sessions according to clinical protocols provided by the clinical lead
- Monitor and record progress and data from neurofeedback training sessions and client’s responses to sessions. Maintain client records of this data as well as verbal reports from clients
- Participate in ongoing training and development
- Maintain confidentiality, professional ethics, and client relations
**Salary**: $18.00 per hour
