**Job Description - Warehouse Associate**

Reports to: Production Manager

Time: 8-hour shift as required

Regular Duties:
SHIPPING
- Check that each skid and each product on skid is correctly packaged and labeled and counts are correct
- Prepare all products for shipping by ensuring that each skid is stacked, stretch-wrapped and loaded into the truck for safe transportation in accordance with the company’s and customer requirements.

RECEVING
- Verify incoming paperwork, inspect products, verify counts and unload.
- Label and put all received items into their designated locations promptly.

INVENTORY
- Maintain storage locations for all stock finished goods in orderly condition.
- Consolidate like products, optimizing storage capacity
- Provide assistance to purchaser in the maintenance of RM storage
- Participate in periodic physical and cycle counts as required.

MATERIALS
- Provide backup and assistance to the Set-ups / Materials Handlers as required.
- Organize and facilitate the regrind process, record data.
- Follow the procedures for mixing and conveying resin blends correctly and efficiently.
- Clean and prepare grinders and dryers.
- Read the docket information for every line so that the raw materials supplied meet quality standards and customer requirements.

QUALITY
- Provide backup and assistance to the Quality Coordinator as required.

OTHER
- Maintain the highest housekeeping standard at all times.
- Regular attendance at monthly crew and safety meetings.
- Provide assistance to the production supervisors as needed.
- Follow the company handbook and all other policies.
- Carry out other duties as assigned by plant manager
- Follow the Warehouse Associate duties for health and safety.

Ø Assist the JHSC Committee as required.

Ø Report safety infractions in the health and safety log book.

Ø Inform the Manufacturing Services Supervisor in a timely manner of health and safety issues where their assistance may be required.

Ø Recognize the recommendation that all heavy lifts (generally in excess of 40 lbs) are performed as team lifts

Ø Report all safety hazards to the supervisor immediately.

Skills and Training Requirements (Entry Level)
- Forklift drivers license preferred.
- Able to meet posting requirements.
- Familiarity with measuring devices ie: Tapes, Calipers, and Gauges.
- Shipping/receiving and quality control experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with hand and power tools.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
