Corporate Travel Advisor - Remote

- As a Corporate Travel Consultant at McCord Travel, A Direct Travel company, you will be working in an exclusive environment that caters to our long-standing business and public sector clients while collaborating directly with the director and team.

This is a fully remote position.

Expedition ExpectationsManaging all aspects of client travel reservations.-
- Developing creative solutions to serve client needs.-
- Keeping up to date with industry developments.-
- Fulfilling complex and unusual travel requests.-
- Reviews all reservations for travel policy and procedure compliance-
- Advising clients on lowest fare and routing option-
- Ensures that all reservation files pass quality control prior to ticket issuance-
- Follows all policy and procedures as outlined in the training manual-
- Provides quality service to each corporate client-
- Supports preferred vendor agreements-
- Responsible for developing relationships with travel arrangers and travelers-
- Call backs to clients; Updating profiles-
- Researching client needs or special requests when required-
- Supporting team members with client requests-
- Solid knowledge of domestic and international corporate travel, international fare construction, and airline routings.-
- Ability to act with absolute discretionPassport to SuccessMinimum 5 years’ experience as corporate travel advisor-
- Travel School Graduate preferred-
- Experience with Domestic, Transborder and International reservations-
- Exceptional knowledge of fare construction and airline routings-
- Hands on Car/ Hotel reservation knowledge-
- Extensive knowledge and experience on designated GDS - Apollo-
- Excellent customer service ability-
- Ability to act with absolute discretion-
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy-
- Solid communications techniques-
- Problem solver and ability to think ‘outside the box’ for customers-
- Team player-
- Ability to be flexible and multi-task-
- Able to work business hours Monday to Friday, with a willingness to occasionally work other hours as neededWhen applying, provide a cover letter with your resume.
