Journeyman Plumber/gasfitter

Tundra Plumbing currently has openings for career-minded Certified Red Seal Journeyman Plumbers to join our growing company.

**Requirements / Qualifications**:

- Ticketed Journeyman Plumber
- Gas Fitter Class B ticket
- Valid BC Driver's License (with a clean driving record)
- Cross Connection Control Certification (beneficial)
- A minimum of 4 years related experience
- Own tools (general hand tools)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Able to work unsupervised and follow directions
- Well organized, neat and detail-oriented
- Prompt, reliable and dependable
- Bondable

**Responsibilities & Duties Include**:

- Residential/Commercial Jobs - new construction, renovations, service
- Read blueprints and drawings to understand or plan the layout of plumbing, waste disposal and water supply systems
- Cut, assemble and install pipes and tubes with attention to existing infrastructure (Renos & Repiping)
- Install and maintain water supply systems (locate and repair issues with water supply lines; including gas & electric hot water tanks)
- Repair or replace broken drainage lines, clogged drains, faucets etc.
- Service, repairs and replacements for residential and commercial fixtures
- Plan and layout mechanical services for plumbing
- Install mechanical services per the drawings and specifications
- Ability to view entire jobs and requisition/order sufficient materials to complete projects
- Ability to take initiative and work independently when performing all duties
- Installing or retrofitting equipment as per specifications, customer requests, blueprints or the current building/plumbing codes.
