**WORKING HOURS**: Monday - Friday
**STATUS**: Full-Time, Permanent
**LOCATION**: Parry Sound, ON

**PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Operate production line machinery and computers.
- Perform pre-shift tool and equipment inspections.
- Troubleshoot production line machinery.
- Perform equipment change-overs.
- Responsible for quality control. Make necessary adjustments to produce product within specifications.
- Operate within standard operating procedures (SOPs) and job safety analysis (JSAs)
- Operate forklift, overhead cranes, or mobile yard cranes (if qualified)
- Complete daily production timecard through the timekeeping system
- Perform daily preventive maintenance (PMS) on production line machinery or tools.
- Communicate with operators from other shifts.
- Clean and maintain work area.
- Lock out equipment in the event of equipment failure.
- Work shifts work as required.
- Must meet other qualifications and checklists as required.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Education or experience as a Machinist, with a strong understanding of machining processes.
- Skilled using basic mathematical principles.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and blueprints.
- Skilled in setting up and operating machinery.
- Strong attention to detail and precision in measuring and quality control.
- Familiarity with various materials, including metals and plastics.
- Awareness of safety protocols and procedures in a manufacturing environment.
