We are currently seeking a highly motivated, talented problem solver and team-oriented individual to join our growing organization in the following position:
**Service Technician - Port Coquitlam, BC**

HSL Automation is hiring for the role of Service Technician located in our Port Coquitlam, British Columbia office. The successful applicant will be responsible for start-up & commissioning, field/shop troubleshooting, service and repair as well as technical support for all products offered. Customer interaction and travel will be required. HSL Automation offers an excellent career path in a technical, dynamic and exciting business environment.

**Qualifications**:

- Work experience in field service, electrical troubleshooting and repair and start-up / commissioning.
- A strong understanding of 3 phase power and electrical networks. Electrical / Electronic Technology Certificate is an asset.
- Read and interpret schematic control diagrams.
- Ability to work with mínimal supervision and prioritize / multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent teamwork, communication and collaborative skills; people oriented.
- Entrepreneurial work ethic.
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license.
- Competent in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint) is an asset.

**Roles and Responsibilities**:

- Provide field service, troubleshooting, repair and start-up / commissioning.
- Provide shop bench service, troubleshooting, repair and testing.
- Customer technical support.
- Equipment modifications and testing.
- Customer training.
