Fire Watch Person

Responsibilities:
- Conduct fire watch duties at construction sites or other designated areas
- Monitor and patrol assigned areas to identify and report potential fire hazards
- Maintain a vigilant presence to prevent fires from occurring
- Follow established protocols and procedures for fire watch activities
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding any potential fire risks or incidents
- Document and report any observed safety violations or concerns
**Skills**:
- Knowledge of fire prevention and safety protocols
- Ability to identify potential fire hazards and take appropriate action
- Strong attention to detail and observation skills
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions accurately
- Basic understanding of construction practices and procedures
- Familiarity with fire suppression systems and equipment
Please note that this position does not involve firefighting duties. The primary responsibility of a Fire Watch is to monitor designated areas for potential fire hazards and promptly report any concerns to the appropriate personnel.
**Salary**: From $16.55 per hour
Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
