Structured Cablingtechnician

LEXIA COMMUNICATIONS is a telecommunication company and an authorized service provider for BELL. LEXIA is presently hiring a full-time Structured Cabling Technician/contractor in Hamilton, ON

**Minimum 2-3 years of experience must**

**Responsibilities**:

- Installation, maintenance & repair of copper and fiber equipment, products, and services
- Terminate, splice, and test SM & MM fiber optic cables
- Terminate fiber optic connectors
- Install and terminate Cat 6 cabling & connectors
- Install and dress cabling into data racks
- Completion of assigned work to the highest of standards
- Commitment to all company safety rules and guidelines
- Ensure vehicle, test equipment, and tools are kept safe and in good condition

**Requirements**:

- Experience in Cable installation, maintenance, and repair
- Experience in utilizing testing tools
- Ability to work at heights comfortably on ladders
- Superior customer service skills
- Valid provincial driver’s license and clean driver’s abstract mandatory

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $22.00-$26.00 per hour

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
