**Position Overview**:
The eCommerce team is an integral part of Newell Brands that focuses on acquiring and retaining consumers across our distribution channels (Amazon and retail.ca) using media strategy and tactical execution to deliver for our iconic portfolio of brands. We consider the consumer first and their shopping journey online and offline with seamless delivery and execution.

As the Manager, Digital Marketing you will lead digital activation from conception to execution for all Newell segments. You will be in lock-step with your brand and sales counterparts to understand long term and short term goals to translate into effective digital campaigns across retailers and channels. You will be responsible for planning, executing, and tracking programs at specific key online retailers, as well as performance marketing campaigns in the paid search, paid social, and affiliate channels. You develop and manage A&P budgets by retailer and channel and have a clear understanding of how digital spend is moving the business forward.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop full funnel marketing strategy on/off retail platforms to drive overall brand and eCommerce growth plans, including:

- Amazon Search & Display
- Retail.ca Search & Display
- OTT/OLV
- Off platform Paid Search/Shopping
- Partner with:

- Amazon and retail.ca Sales teams to build eCommerce activation plans
- eContent and Creative teams to communicate digital assets required to support media campaigns and omni-activations
- Media partners (Amazon, Walmart Connect, Criteo, Instacart) to drive growth
- Analytics to understand sales lift and performance trends to optimize the media mix
- Internal Planning and Brand teams to determine optimal product mix investment and omnichannel cohesiveness strategies
- Own and manage annual activation calendar and workback schedule tied to pre and post execution
- Manage media agencies and oversee campaigns to track performance and make timely decisions to ensure agencies optimize accordingly
- Leverage state of the art analytics tools to understand customer activation and digital campaign performance and distill insights to help drive growth
- Provide paid digital media program performance reports, communicating results as it relates to the KPIs set and aligned on by Brand, Sales and Digital Marketing
- Involvement in preparation for key customer and internal planning meetings with cross-functional teams to help achieve aligned priorities and goals
- Develops the segmentation of campaigns in alignment with business goals and reporting expectations, implements budget pacing to track and optimize elements of digital advertising campaigns across a given time
- Determines basic account structures with campaigns, ad groups/ad sets, keywords and creatives
- Determines improvements to campaign performance by narrowing or broadening targeting, changing campaign goals or inputs, shifting budget, and/or working with eContent to adjust creatives/copy, A/B testing platform features, etc.
- Identify and assess opportunities for tech-stack improvements

**Qualifications**:

- BS/BA or University degree in a related field
- 5+ years of digital marketing and/or eCommerce work experience
- Experience with Amazon Advertising (AMS bid management strongly preferred) or similar platforms (e.g., Google AdWords)
- Experience in Programmatic Display management
- Demonstrated integrity and maturity, and a constructive approach to challenges
- Ability to operate independently given direction, and bring ideas and solutions to issues raised
- Strong passion for both speed and simplicity
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Interpersonally savvy; an ability to effectively work with and connect with all levels of employees across multiple functions and geographies
- Detail-oriented and operationally focused
- Strong organizing skills
- Takes initiative and brings impeccable follow-up skills
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated ability to lead multiple activities and assignments simultaneously
- Experience working in a consumer-packaged goods (CPG), fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG), consumer durables industry, and/or retail strongly preferred
