**Job Summary**
We are seeking compassionate Caregivers to join our team. The Respte Caregiver will assist adults with intellectual disabilities with daily activities, personal care, and companionship.

Respite offers employees a valuable opportunity to develop new skills while gaining diverse social and environmental experiences. This is a casual position with flexible hours, tailored to meet the needs of the families and the availability of the caregiver.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide support at Individual's home or community, as requested
- Administer medication as directed by healthcare professionals
- Assist with mobility if applicable
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals according to dietary requirements, if applicable
- Maintain positive working relationships with all involved in the care of the individual.

**Skills and Requirments**:

- Experiences and/or education supporting individuals who have developmental disabilities
- Ability to administer medications following prescribed instructions
- Valid Driver’s License
- First Aid/CPR Certificate (or willing to be certified)
- Food Safe Certificate (or willing to be certified)
- Clear Criminal Record Check
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Report writing skill
- Mandt Training OR NCI Certificate is an asset

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $21.00-$25.50 per hour

Expected hours: 2 - 20 per week
