QA Tester

- Experience creating and executing test plans, test cases, test scripts, and traceability matrices
- Experience with using defect management tools like Jira and Bugzilla.
- Experience with Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid methodologies
- Knowledge of QA methodologies and tools
- Strong experience with Functional, Regression, UAT & System Testing
- Experience using version control software like SVN, GIT
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with outstanding attention to detail.
- Self-motivator - able to grasp concepts quickly with mínimal supervision, take ownership of problems and follow them through to completion.
- Experience with addressing and reproducing customer/user specific issues
- Hands on experience in SQL would be an asset

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Create, update, and execute test cases based on requirements
- Defect logging, tracking, and resolution within JIRA throughout the agile development and testing process
- Executing various testing techniques to ensure the highest possible quality of products before release
- Analyzing and troubleshooting reported defects and internal issues
- Communicating test efforts and status on current projects
- Great interpersonal and communication skills

**Education**

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field preferred.

**Salary**: $45,000.00-$55,000.00 per year

- 8 hour shift
