Elias Custom Metal Fabrication Ltd. (ECM) is a custom precision sheet metal fabrication company with over 25 years of experience. This longevity is the key to our knowledge and expertise which have allowed us the ability to operate on an integrated business model providing our customers with a single source manufacturing solution. From initial product design to final packaging and distribution, we offer on-time-delivery and end-to-end service that caters to our customers' every need.
Our company history began from a two person team and have evolved from its humble beginnings into a well-respected provider of custom metal services. Today, we are one of the leading company in the industry with a team of 40 staff member strong and continually growing. Our operation is carried out in an 80,000 sq. ft. facility fully equipped with the latest state-of-the-art laser and manufacturing technology. ECM has developed close ties with clientele in Ontario and the rest of Canada and has built significant export relationships in the United States of America, which now represent a large majority of our business. Our organization became an ISO 9001: 2008 registered company in 2012 and has been in full compliance in maintaining the high service and quality standards set by this rigorous certification process.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:
- Read Blueprints and/or Work Order forms and use customer drawings to verify all pieces are visually and dimensionally correct prior to assembly.
- Use the correct hardware, gaskets and tools to properly assemble parts according to job specifications.
- Assemble products according to drawings and specifications and ensure all quality procedures are met.
- Maintain safe work environment by following procedures and complying with legal regulations.
- Must follow health and safety standards (wear and maintain personal protective equipment, etc.).
**Qualifications**:
- Possess physical coordination, hand-eye coordination and endurance
- Manual dexterity required
- Ability to understand and communicate information is essential
- Ability to handle weight up to 23kg (50lbs)
- Must be willing to take initiative and learn through on-the-job training
- Must be able to work part of a team
**Work Conditions**:
- Fast-paced environment
- Noisy and dusty shop/plant environment
- Physically demanding - Handling weights, standing, walking, reaching for extended periods
- May work overtime, as required
